We spread compassion with science

Aim to rehabilitate more than 100,000 Palestinian-injured Muslims in Gaza.

We started by –FREE of charge– training more than 40 physical therapists (35 of them are Palestinians) for the rehabilitation techniques in

1. Amputee Rehabilitation
2. Crush and Compartment Syndrome Rehabilitation
3. Neuro-Rehabilitation department
4. Burns Rehabilitation
5. Orthopedic injuries Rehabilitation Department

and we aim to become 150 well-educated, highly qualified Palestinian physical therapists in the next 3 months Inshaa Allah ..

Who are we? 

SmartPhysio is a specialized education initiative started in November 2020 by a team of six students managed by Dr. Islam Ahmad and by November 2023, we had a community of more than 1400 Arab physical therapists and PT students in Istanbul.

What do we need? 

We want to establish a Disaster and Conflict Injuries Rehabilitation Center to achieve both aims:

1. Rehabilitate the injured people in Gaza, Syria, Yemen, and many others in Istanbul, AND
2. to send those well-educated, highly qualified Palestinian physical therapists to Gaza ASAP.

Have we a history in this field?

We shared in the rehabilitation of the Syrian injured victims through the 2023 Turkey-Syria earthquake, and we offered high-quality and quick rehabilitation programs for burns, amputees, and crush syndrome victims.
